Campus invited to free Lessons in Leadership session

The campus community is invited to pilot the university's new Lessons in Leadership Series with a special complimentary session from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. about "Leadership Efficiency: Effective Strategies and AI Tools for Enhanced Productivity" on Wednesday, March 19, in 335 Sheldon Hall. 

This interactive workshop will equip attendees with proven strategies to enhance productivity and leverage AI tools for smarter leadership. To reserve a spot email opd@oswego.edu

ASAP session details "Basic Needs Support"

Advisement Center to host registration workshops

In preparation for the fall 2025 advanced registration period for students, the Advisement Center will host drop-in Registration Workshops from March 31 to April 4.

Residential and Littlepage Fitness Center network maintenance set next week

March 12, 2025

On March 17, from 2 to 3 p.m., Campus Technology Services (CTS) will perform network maintenance affecting access to the wired and wireless networks in all residence halls. While implementing these network changes, there may be intermittent wired and wireless connectivity outages.

On March 18, from 1 to 3 p.m., CTS will perform academic network maintenance affecting access to the Littlepage Fitness Center’s wireless networks. There will be minimal impact of intermittent wireless connectivity outages while we implement these network changes.

Next Faculty Research Exchange to take place Wednesday

SUNY Oswego earns several national Broadcast Education Association awards

SUNY Oswego students and faculty recently earned honors in seven categories -- more awards than any other SUNY school by a large margin -- through the national Broadcast Education Association.

Sign-ups open for Lavender Graduation, hosted by Pride Alliance

Lavender Graduation is an event in which LGBTQ+ students acknowledge what they have accomplished, as well as what they hope to accomplish in the future. Hosted by Pride Alliance, this semester's Lavender Graduation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m on Thursday, May 8.

Empire State Service Corps students attend SUNY summit

SUNY Oswego's Empire State Service Corps members attended the inaugural "Service and Civics Summit" in Syracuse on March 1. Participants had the opportunity to connect with Corps members from other SUNY institutions, and engage with Chancellor John B. King Jr. during a fireside chat.

STEAM Camp seeks instructors this summer

SUNY Oswego’s STEAM Camp is seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead engaging, hands-on courses for students ages 5–14 this summer.

Since 2017, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Camp has inspired young learners through interactive programs in coding, robotics, game design, creative arts and more.

The program will run Aug. 4 to 8 and Aug. 11 to 15 for students entering grades K–9. Daily schedule is 9:30 a.m. to noon, 1 to 3:30 p.m.
