SUNY Oswego has once again been named to the “Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs” by NACPA-College Student Educators International (ACPA) and The EDU Ledger.

Student Engagement and Leadership, Campus Recreation, The Office of the Dean of Students, and Student Orientation and Family Engagement present a variety of events for Stress Free Week, March 2 to 6. This week of programs is designed to help students relieve stress and have fun in the lead-up to midterms.

Activities spanning from goat yoga to an involvement fair to a hockey tailgate and much more to welcome students for the spring semester.

SUNY Oswego was among the institutions recognized for outstanding support and initiatives in student basic needs by State University of New York Chancellor John B. King Jr. on Jan. 2.

Between hosting an on-campus Thanksgiving dinner, SHOP (Students Helping Oz Peers) providing a large amount of meals for those with needs and other initiatives to support the community during the holidays, the spirit of giving has been strong this season at SUNY Oswego.

SUNY Oswego's Investment Club provides students with hands-on opportunities for learning while also managing a large endowment fund that benefits university scholarships. The club-managed fund recently passed $1 million -- showing the success of the program and how it provides the tools for today's students to become the business leaders of tomorrow.

SUNY Oswego English major Ruby Ramseyer started working with the Empire State Service Corps -- which pays student for serving their community -- as an Onondaga Community College student.

The 21st annual Lewis B. O'Donnell Media Summit welcomed a range of alumni for an all-star panel, Career Connectors networking event and classroom visits on Oct. 23.

With 409 participants, SUNY Oswego has the largest participation in SUNY's Advancing Completion through Engagement (ACE) program supporting student success and retention, the university and partners marked the occasion by sharing student stories and the insights of officials.

More than 100 students came together as Campus Recreation's Lee Hall gym hosted a daylong wheelchair basketball event, with six different teams enjoying spirited competition and community engagement on Sept. 29.
