Oswego celebrates success of largest ACE student support program in SUNY

The university and partners recently marked the occasion by sharing student stories and the insights of officials at an event at SUNY Oswego's Syracuse Campus on Oct. 2.

New School of Humanities builds bridges, solutions across disciplines, communities

SUNY Oswego’s new School of Humanities –- part of the College of Liberal Arts, Sciences and Engineering (CLASE) –- is connected by storytelling, searching and solutions, said Candis Haak, the inaugural director of the school.

Students invited to join marketing photo shoots Oct. 14 and 15

SUNY Oswego is inviting students to participate in upcoming marketing photo shoots across campus. These photos will be used to showcase the student experience in official print materials, on social media and may even be helpful for your own LinkedIn page.

No experience is needed. The Office of Communications and Marketing is looking for real SUNY Oswego students to show what life on campus is all about. Come solo or with friends and help represent the energy, diversity and spirit of the Laker community.

The university’s Digital Learning Environment Team is excited to announce a new tool to help you stay on top of your learning commitments: the Work To Do widget.

Added to the Oswego Brightspace homepage, this handy widget provides a single, organized view of all your assigned learning activities across all your courses. The new workflow means users no longer need to click through each course to find out what's due.

National Grid New York president headlines second annual Sheldon Lecture

Sally Librera, president of National Grid New York, will be the featured guest during SUNY Oswego’s second annual Sheldon Lecture on Leadership and Service. Taking place at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, in the university’s Sheldon Hall ballroom, the event is free and open to the public.

MyOswego changes coming Oct. 9

This update will make it easier to access the tools and information you need, whether you are on a computer or a mobile device. The new system will feature a cleaner, more intuitive layout that simplifies navigation while maintaining the same functionality that was previously available.
