At SUNY Oswego, I was able to have the kinds of experiences that I wanted without being expected to fit a particular mold. I was able to act, stage manage, do electrics and dramaturgy in my 4 years, where most other programs limit you to one field. The various experience I had, and the opportunity to create events and theatrical endeavors of my own has helped me in my post-graduate life.
Hours after graduation, I returned to Nantucket, Massachusetts, where I was the Assistant Company Stage Manager for the summer season of Theatre Workshop of Nantucket, where I assistant stage managed Neil Simon's California Suite and Grease, and also stage manage a TYA production of Seussical. This fall, I moved to New York City, where I am the Production Stage Manager for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at Gallery Players and the Global Entertainment Intern at RWS Entertainment Group.
