SHOP reports great need for winter clothing

SUNY Oswego's SHOP (Students Helping Oz Peers) is seeking help from the campus community in keeping fellow Lakers warm this winter.

All donations of new and/or gently used jackets, hats, gloves, scarves and more are welcome at SHOP, located in the basement of Penfield Library. With winter and the holiday season approaching, people looking to support this worthy cause while shopping or cleaning out closets are encouraged to donate what they can. SHOP also supplies other essentials like food, toiletries and professional clothing — all for free.

Fall BFA Exhibition opens Dec. 2

Tyler Art Gallery's Fall BFA Exhibition, running Dec. 2 to 12, celebrates graduating bachelor of fine arts students making the journey from emerging artists to professional creatives.

The campus and community are invited to an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, in the gallery on the main level of Tyler Hall.

BFA exhibitions are a celebration of the students' dedication, creativity,and vision as they make their mark in the art world. Visitors can  experience the diverse and innovative works that display their unique perspectives.
