VITA free tax-preparation program set for spring 2026

SUNY Oswego’s IRS-certified Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will continue to provide free tax assistance for the community in Oswego and Fulton locations this spring.

Those signing up should call 315-596-2551 to leave a message with their name and phone number to schedule an appointment. All messages will be returned within 24 hours.

Students from Oswego's College of Business and Entrepreneurship, plus expert advisers, will again provide this free service.

Friday event to celebrate adding Dominican Republic to Flags of Nations display

SUNY Oswego's Flags of Nations display represents the international and Indigenous connections of the SUNY Oswego community. The campus is welcome to celebrate the addition of the Dominican Republic flag with an event on Friday, Feb. 27, at 5 p.m. in Marano Campus Center Auditorium (room 132).

The university displays these flags to acknowledge, celebrate and honor individual and collective histories, places and experiences.

Light refreshments will be served.

Onondaga Hall selection lottery happening, starting today

Important student survey launching March 3 via email

Eligible students are asked to help SUNY Oswego by completing the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), which will appear in the inboxes of first-year and senior students on Tuesday, March 3. 

The university wants students to have the best educational experience possible, and NSSE helps by providing vital information about activities in and out of the classroom. Your participation is critical to supporting this effort.

Campus Opportunities Expo connects students with on-campus work

Experiential Learning will host its Campus Opportunities Expo for the spring semester from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, in the Swetman Gym of Marano Campus Center. The Campus Opportunities Expo connects students with campus organizations offering internships, student employment and many other experiences.
