SUNY Oswego’s Golden Ticket campaign receives statewide award for marketing excellence

The “Golden Ticket” promotion from SUNY Oswego’s Division of Extended Learning has earned the Continuing Education Association of New York (CEANY) Exemplary Marketing Program Award, conferred at the association’s annual conference in November.

10 Laker student-athletes named to Academic All-District Team

December 18, 2025

The 2025-26 Academic All-District teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognized 10 Lakers as honorees among its fall-sport athletes.

The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA among the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

New Hometown University Internships build experience, community connections

Winter offerings at Penfield Library: Research help, games, more

Oneida and Funnelle Hall network upgrades next week

December 8, 2025

Campus Technology Services (CTS) will perform network hardware firmware upgrades to Oneida and Funnelle Hall the week of Dec. 15. 

Here is the maintenance schedule:

Funnelle Hall

  • Dec. 16, 6:30 to 8 a.m.: Wired and wireless network service will be unavailable while switches reboot earlier in the morning.
  • Dec. 18,  6:30 to 8 a.m.

Oneida Hall

Seven projects earn Student Scholarly and Creative Activities Grants

December 8, 2025

The Fall 2025 round of the Student Scholarly and Creative Activities Grant will fund seven proposals totaling nearly $7,000. 
These proposals were recommended for funding by members of the Scholarly and Creative Activity Committee and ultimately approved for funding by Provost Scott Furlong. 
Winners include:
