Auxiliary Services welcomes 2025-2026 Program Fund requests

To support SUNY Oswego’s strategic plan and initiatives, the Auxiliary Services Board of Directors invites applications for grant funding to aid programs that help create a vibrant campus community.

These funds are for the 2025-2026 academic year and must be used by May 2026 Commencement. Applications are available on the Scholarships and Funding webpage and are due by April 4, 2025.

​​SHOP opens branch at Syracuse Campus

February 11, 2025

SUNY Oswego’s SHOP (Student Helping Oz Peers) pantry is expanding its reach, opening in the university’s Syracuse Campus and offering even more help to adult learners.

SHOP’s Syracuse operation is available to every student, from 3 to 8 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays. Student teachers and international students make up most of the population served.

Career Services announces busy slate of spring events

Avoid injured or dead birds and other animals

Members of the campus community are encouraged to keep personal safety at the forefront when encountering dead, injured or sick birds or other animals on campus, due to a number of reasons including avian influenza. 

If you encounter an injured animal on campus:

Classes that start before 11:30 a.m. will be taught remotely

Due to adverse weather conditions, SUNY Oswego announces that all classes at both the Oswego and Syracuse campuses BEFORE 11:30 a.m. will be taught remotely on Monday, Feb. 10.

All face-to-face and hybrid classes will shift to remote instruction as directed by your faculty member. Online courses will proceed as scheduled. In-person classes starting 11:30 a.m. or later would meet in person unless the faculty member decides otherwise.
