The most memorable feeling from being abroad that I miss is the feeling of excitement and curiosity before you step into that country for the first time. I l fell in love with the process of learning and experiencing new cultures. I learned that when traveling it's cool to do the touristy things, but the best experiences are when you're accompanied with the local people of the country. The locals are the heart and soul of the country.

Spending time abroad opens your mind to many perspectives where you unconsciously begin to reflect on yourself and your culture, constantly comparing and learning. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I got to try things I never thought I could eat. One thing that I did struggle with was finding the right time to contact home due to the time difference.
