Steve is originally from Schenectady, NY. In 2006, he earned his Dual BA in English and Theatre from SUNY Oswego, and in 2016 he received his MFA in Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Since graduating from Oswego, he has worked predominately as either an Actor, Director, or Assistant Director at professional theaters across the country. He has helped create work performed in New York City at The Signature Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, The Vineyard Theatre, Gingold Theatrical Group, 13th Street Theatre, American Theatre of Actors, Secret Theatre, Urban Stages, West End Theatre and Gallery Players. He's worked for National touring theatres (National Theatre for Arts and Education, American Family Theatre) and at Regional theatres (Connecticut Free Shakespeare, Valley Shakespeare Festival, Savannah Shakes, Cohoes Musical Hall, La Comedia Dinner Theatre in Ohio).

Research

Steve has proudly worked as a Teaching Artist for Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY and the NYC West Side YMCA. Also, he has taught as an Adjunct Instructor at Dutchess County Community College in Poughkeepsie NY and at SUNY Oswego.

Associate Member of SDC, the stage director's union.

Awards and honors

He is the recipient of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation's Observership for Spring 2018 at Manhattan Theatre Club under the mentorship of TONY Award winning Director Daniel Sullivan.
