Membership
Rice Creek Associates (RCA), the friend group of Rice Creek Field Station (RCFS), is a community of like-minded people who share a passion for nature and a desire to support RCFS. Members receive a quarterly newsletter, reduced rates for Exploring Nature, a complimentary window cling, and a chance to win our quarterly prize drawing. All are welcome. Annual memberships start at just $5.

Donations to Rice Creek Field Station support a variety of projects: the Canal Forest Restoration Project, scholarships to Exploring Nature, our kids' summer program, Small Grants to support research and scholarly activities, the Ruth Sachidanandan Herb Garden, trail maintenance, and more. Donations can be designated to a specific project or to the Rice Creek Associates general fund.

Please make checks payable to Oswego College Foundation/RCA. The memo section can specify a project if desired. Checks should be mailed to: SUNY Oswego - Rice Creek, 7060 State Route 104, Oswego, New York 13126

Volunteers support the field station in many ways: by assisting with trail maintenance, collecting seeds and transplanting tree seedlings for the Canal Forest Restoration Project, and caring for our herb garden. We welcome volunteers from SUNY Oswego, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Oswego County, and members of the local community.
