Deadline to reserve spot in Earth Day themed Paint 'n Sip

The encouraged deadline is tomorrow (April 18) to reserve a spot via this link in the Office of the Dean of Students' Earth Day-themed Paint ‘n Sip event from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on April 24 in 114 Marano Campus Center. The event is specifically targeted for graduate students and commuters.

Honors Convocation to recognize outstanding students on Friday

The annual Honors Convocation, a ceremony recognizing student achievement, will take place at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 25, in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall.

Honors Convocation continues as a tradition observed each spring semester to recognize Oswego student award winners and those who have demonstrated excellence in their field of study or in service to the college community.

Awards from departments, the Oswego Alumni Association, Oswego College Foundation and Division of Extended Learning will mark this joyous celebration of academic success. 

Civic Discourse Series to discuss health care: 'Who Gets Heard and Who Gets Care?'

This final discussion in Oswego’s year-long Civic Discourse Series will focus on healthcare's evolving landscape and asking the title question "Who Gets Heard and Who Gets Care" at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17.

Late Night Resume Workshop set April 16

Career Services interns Katie and Kritika are holding a late-night drop-in hour in Marano Campus Center Hearth Lounge from 6 to 7 p.m. on April 16 for seniors who are not able to meet them during their regular hours.

This provides an opportunity for those who want to work on their resume, cover letter or LinkedIn profile. The interns can also help participants tailor their resumes/cover letters to a specific job. 

The session will also include snacks and drinks, plus the opportunity to participate in a raffle to win an Oswego hoodie.

SUNY Oswego Commencement to feature distinguished, inspiring speakers

In addition to celebrating the graduation of hundreds of students, SUNY Oswego’s May Commencement on May 17 will provide honorary doctoral degrees to two accomplished alumni and feature a special distinguished guest speaker.
