Alumni podcast explores full circle journey: From Campus School to career connections

In a recent episode of the Oswego Alumni Podcast, host Dee McGowan Perkins of the class of 1985 sits down to hear the unique journey of SUNY Oswego alumnus and adjunct professor Chris Hoch (a 1998 bachelor's graduate who earned a certificate of advanced study in 2016). Hoch discusses going from attending elementary school on campus -- the former Campus School -- to building a successful career in risk management, and then returning to the classroom to teach the next generation.

Re-registration info for registered student organizations

August 20, 2025

The registered student organization re-registration form is open and remains open until Friday, Sept. 5, at 11:55 p.m.  

All clubs and organizations that wish to be active organizations on campus next year must fill out this form.  The form is typically filled out by the incoming president, but is available to all officers.

SEFA hosting mums sale to support community causes

The annual State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) Fall Garden Mums Sale is now open, leading off the season's on-campus fundraising campaign that supports area charities.

Members of the campus community can purchase big, beautiful eight-inch potted mums provided by Oliver Paine Greenhouses in Fulton, featuring colors that include yellow, white, lavender (purple), red (maroon) and bronze (orange). All proceeds from this popular event support SEFA’s 2025-26 campaign.

Three new AI tools coming to SUNY Oswego

Extended hours for CTS Help Desk

To help ensure a successful start to the semester, the Campus Technology Services (CTS) Help Desk will hold extended hours for the following days:

Opening week, through Aug. 24:

  • Wednesday and Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: Noon to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday: Noon to 7 p.m.
