Oz Data Club to host 'Modelling Madness' on Tuesday

Competitive coding and bracketology will collide when the Oz Data Club hosts "Modelling Madness" from 4 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, in 133 Marano Campus Center.

This free event features paid brackets where participants can try to pick winners in March Madness while learning to design a machine-learning model. Teams or individuals may participate.

Participants should be sure to bring their laptop or another mobile device capable of using Google CoLab and/or Python.

Display To Archives submissions deadline approaching

Display to Archives is Penfield Library's ongoing effort to collect, recognize, exhibit and promote access to the creative and scholarly work of SUNY Oswego's faculty and staff.

With more than 100 high schoolers visiting, SUNY Oswego’s Direct Day on Feb. 26 officially launched a new access initiative to provide eligible public high school seniors in Oswego County and the Syracuse City School District simplified pathways to apply for admission.

Parking adjustments for Wednesday's career fair

In support of the upcoming Dream Big Career, Internship and Exploration Fair on March 4, parking lots E-10 and E-17 (north of Marano Campus Center) will be reserved for visiting employers. These lots will be coned off early in the morning on the day of the fair and will stay closed for attendee parking through 7 p.m.
