Registration Workshops available throughout this week

March 9, 2026

The Advisement Center will host Registration Workshops March 23 to March 27, each day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students can visit the Advisement Center, 151 Marano Campus Center, to meet with an Advisement Guide and receive support in preparation of fall 2026 Registration.

No pre-registration or appointment is necessary to attend a workshop. Workshops occur every half hour throughout the week. Students are encouraged to bring laptops, tablets or other devices for this interactive workshop where they can set up their registration plan and seek help and support.

SHOP hosts school supply drive for Children's Center

March 9, 2026

During the month of March, Students Helping Oz Peers (SHOP) is hosting a school supply drive to support the Children’s Center of Oswego.

The Children's Center of Oswego is a non-profit children's care center in Sheldon Hall on campus, serving toddlers and preschoolers.

New Employee Garden Club beginning to blossom

A new Employee Gardening Club is forming at SUNY Oswego, offering faculty and staff an opportunity to connect through a shared interest in gardening, plants and nature.

The club was started by Nastia (Ana) Kotliar, a staff member who wanted to create a relaxed space where employees could share gardening experiences, learn from one another and enjoy the simple joy of growing things together. The idea emerged from a desire to bring people across campus together through a hobby that encourages creativity, sustainability and community.
