English Proficiency Requirements

Non-native speakers of English applying for admission to SUNY Oswego at the undergraduate level must submit proof of their English language proficiency for consideration by the college's Office of Admissions. A list of all English proficiency scores and programs currently considered is found below. Note that SUNY Oswego only accepts English proficiency scores that were taken within two years of the submission date. Don’t see your program or exam on this list? Other English proficiency exams may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Exemptions are possible under certain circumstances; contact isss@oswego.edu to see if you qualify.
