Staff profile

Originally from South Korea, Hanna had participated in the study abroad program in the U.S. as an international student back in 2014. During the participation, she was intrigued by various student support services offered by the university, and the experience led her to study a graduate program in higher education administration.

Hanna's unique personal background of being an international exchange student and a degree-seeking student helped her understand the importance of keeping abreast of immigration regulations and promoting social justice. In her current position as a SEVIS and International Services Coordinator, she enjoys advising F-1 and J-1 international students and scholars and assisting them to have successful college/ study abroad experiences.

In her free time, Hanna enjoys researching and writing about increasing access and inclusiveness in International Education.
