Employee Wellness Program: Discover Wellness: Find a Healthier You

Discover Wellness: Find A Healthier You is offering its virtual seven-week program again this semester, starting Jan. 31.

The sessions will be held weekly, every Monday from 12:30-1:30 (tentatively) and are free to all SUNY Oswego employees. This program focuses on stress reduction, healthy eating, increasing physical activity and improving overall quality of sleep.

Invitation open to submit First-Year Signature Course proposals

Since Fall 2018, we have been offering “passion” courses (First-Year Signature Courses) each fall semester to incoming first-year students. The intent of these courses was to build student engagement and academic rigor in the very first semester here at Oswego. Studies show that engaged students are retained at a high level at most institutions (Barefoot, 1993; Tinto, 1997; Kuh, et. al, 2005).
