RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format that allows the syndication of lists of hyperlinks, along with other information, ormetadata, that helps viewers decide whether they want to follow the link. An RSS document (called a feed) usually contains a summary of content from an associated website. The user subscribes to the feed by clicking an RSS icon in a browser or using an XML link provided on a website.

There are many RSS Readers or aggregators available: Firefox web browser, Thunderbird e-mail software and Google Reader are just a few.

If you are using Firefox web browser, you will see an RSS icon in the address area. Click on that icon to subscribe to the feed. Internet Explorer 7 indicates an RSS feed by showing an orange RSS icon next to the Home icon.
