ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS

Includes administrative offices, divisions and departments (including professors' course pages within departmental sites), other campus-related organizations or SUNY Oswego-hosted conference websites.

PROCEDURES

  • Must use Ingeniux CMS for publishing.
  • Sites are maintained by staff authorized by department head or director.
  • To obtain editing access, the department head or director should email the webmaster.

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

Sites must comply with NYS accessibility lawcopyright law, SUNY Oswego's Acceptable Use policy, must use our Content Management System, and utilize best practices for Web publishing.

PERSONAL - FACULTY/STAFF AND STUDENT

Procedures

As of 1/24/11 Google Sites is now part of LakerApps for the development of personal web pages. Please remember that all existing acceptable use policies and guidelines of the College apply to the naming, development and publishing of content through the Sites feature. CTS support for Sites is limited but they offer training and documentation.
