About Open Recreation

For Open Recreation Hours, please see our Gym and Pool Hours  Please note our building hours are subject to change

Open Recreation allows individuals the opportunity to pursue activities and utilize the Lee Hall Recreation Facility. The Lee Hall gym is available for basketball. In addition, there is a racquetball and squash court, a swimming pool, and many outdoor sports fields. Swetman Gym is available for volleyball, indoor soccer, badminton, and basketball. Please bring a valid Oswego State University of New York ID to enter the building and borrow equipment.  Email imrec@oswego.edu to request equipment.

A variety of sports equipment is available for students, faculty and staff to check out at the Lee Hall and Swetman Gym front desks. In order to check equipment out, individuals must leave their SUNY Oswego ID with the front desk. The borrower will get the ID back when all rented equipment is returned. If the equipment is lost or broken while being rented, the borrower's ID will not be returned until the borrower reimburses Campus Recreation. Equipment should be returned when done being used.
