Previous Position Held:
Assistant Professor of Management at SUNY Farmingdale. (August 2015- August 2017)

I am an Associate Professor of Management at SUNY Oswego and a former faculty member at SUNY Farmingdale. I received my PhD from the State University of New York at Binghamton in Organizational Behavior with a concentration in advanced research methods, and I earned my MBA and my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saint Bonaventure University.

When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, exploring the outdoors, running, and being with my friends, family, and dogs. My worldly travels began when I moved to Iceland to play professional soccer. Since then, I have traveled across Europe and the US. I believe “we are the change we wish to see in this world,” and one way I try to make a positive difference is by volunteering at a local dog rescue.

Teaching
I teach management, organizational behavior, leadership, statistics, and analytics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I actively mentor students on research projects, internships (faculty sponsor), honors projects, and professional development opportunities as teaching assistants for HRM 385 (Organizational Behavior).

Research

Research
My research is at the intersection of organizational behavior and psychology, and includes topics such as leadership, perceptions, microaggressions, pedagogy, and modeling change over time and within-person. I have publications in journals across psychological and management fields in addition to national and international conference presentations. I have a passion for research methods and statistics, and I am proficient in/familiar with R, SAS, SPSS, Stata, Excel, BigQuery (SQL), Tableau, Python, & LaTeX. I have book publications related to statistics using R, SAS, SPSS, and Stata, and I am currently writing a business statistics textbook with my excellent co-author, Gregory J. Privitera, with SAGE Publishing.
