SUNY Upstate 3+3 DPT Early Admission

This program is only open to current high school seniors.  Students must successfully apply to both SUNY Oswego and SUNY Upstate.

The 3+3 DPT Program requires three years of study (six semesters) at SUNY Oswego and three years of study at SUNY Upstate. Upon successful completion of three years at SUNY Oswego and the first year at Upstate, students will be awarded a BA degree in Biology from SUNY Oswego. Upon successful completion of three years at SUNY Upstate in the Entry-level DPT program, students will be awarded a DPT degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University.

To be considered for the program, high school seniors need to apply to SUNY Upstate in addition to SUNY Oswego. The admission requirements and application process for the 3+3 DPT program at Upstate can be found here. Upstate's 3+3 DPT application opens September 1 and has a deadline date of February 1. SUNY Upstate encourages students considering the 3+3 DPT program to add themselves to their contact list to receive more information about the Physical Therapy program, admissions information and to be notified about events. Any questions about applying to SUNY Upstate can be directed to admiss@upstate.edu.

SUNY Oswego students not accepted into Upstate Medical University's 3+3 program as a high school senior can apply to Upstate's Early Assurance Program for College Sophomores or regular admission during their senior year of college.
