The full schedule, as well as information on some parking lot closures, is now available for the daylong OzFest on Friday, May 3.

This year's OzFest concert will feature Kiari Kendrell Cephus, known globally as Offset, a Grammy-nominated, renowned and accomplished song-writer, entertainer, and burgeoning business man. He also is one-third of the popular, multi-platinum rap trio Migos.

The votes have been tallied, and the university’s new name for the student-allocated room previously known as The Space will be the Laker Lounge.

SUNY Oswego Associate Vice President for Student Affairs Gabriel Marshall is a member of the inaugural SUNY Black Leadership Institute (BLI), launched earlier this month.

SUNY Chancellor John B. King Jr.'s visit to the SUNY Oswego campus on Wednesday, Feb. 14, included the announcement of nearly $10 million in annual state funding to increase mental health services and support across the SUNY system, including SUNY Oswego, via New York Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature.

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., SUNY Oswego will host events from Feb. 1 to 3 to remember and celebrate his legacy.

Magdalena (Maggie) Rivera, assistant dean of students, student outreach and support in SUNY Oswego’s Office of the Dean of Students, was honored this fall by Sen. John Mannion for her contributions to and support of the Hispanic community in Central New York.

On Sunday, Nov. 5, more than 400 Laker student-athletes, coache, and administrators dedicated their time to raking the fall leaves off of over 50 yards for senior citizens in the Oswego community.

Relatives and friends of SUNY Oswego’s students are invited to come to campus and experience some unique events during Family and Friends Weekend, running from Oct. 20 to 22.

“Potluck,” a public student art project on the first floor of Penfield Library, shines a light on the services of the SHOP (Students Helping Oz Peers) pantry on campus as well as the issue of food insecurity.
