When college students need a helping hand with necessities, the SHOP program continues to find ways to support them.

For students, having to go into isolation (for a positive COVID-19 test) or quarantine (for potential infection) is not part of their college plans. But SUNY Oswego’s Quarantine and Isolation Buddy program, aimed at facilitating caring interactions with students who are isolated from everyone due to the virus, tries to make a difficult situation a little better.

Students Helping Oz Peers (SHOP) is a volunteer-staffed pantry continues to support Oswego students’ needs from its base of operations in the basement of Penfield Library.

Student-taught group fitness classes have returned as part of the Fitness Center’s spring relocation to the Marano Campus Center arena.

The campus community can find plenty of room to work out with a temporary fitness center in the spacious Marano Campus Center arena, assembled via hard work and teamwork.
