Olympic pioneer to be March 9 ‘I Am Oz’ speaker

Ibtihaj Muhammad -- the first American woman to to compete, and medal, in a hijab during the Olympics -- will bring her story to a SUNY Oswego audience in a 6:30 p.m. March 9 virtual talk in the “I Am Oz” Diversity Speaker Series.

Variety of activities slated for inaugural Wellness Day

The college’s first-ever Wellness Day -- a break in the compressed spring semester calendar on Wednesday, Feb. 24 -- will offer a day to relax, but also to take advantage of mental and physical wellness activities, ranging from fresh air at Rice Creek to arts and crafts to enjoying yoga and music.
