The Office of the Dean of Students will host a tabling event for Student Outreach and Support in Shineman Center, outside of the Fusion Cafe, on Nov. 21 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Staff from the ODS office will be present and available to answer questions, and provide general information on basic needs resources, student emergency funds, campus resources, off-campus & commuters' resources, and adult learners resources.

All students are invited to come chat and grab some fun giveaways, organizers said.

SUNY Oswego signs to glow purple in recognition of World Pancreatic Cancer Day

SUNY Oswego’s main entrance signs will glow with purple light starting at sundown today, Nov. 21, in recognition of World Pancreatic Cancer Day and as a way for many to remember loved ones lost to pancreatic cancer, support those living with and beyond the disease, as well as raise vital awareness during November’s Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.

Oswego’s annual Whiteout Weekend, one of the most recognized campus traditions, is set to return this Friday and Saturday at the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall in Marano Campus Center, including an effort to help those in need as the holidays approach.

Oswego’s annual Whiteout Weekend, onc of the most recognized campus traditions, is set to return this Friday and Saturday at the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall in Marano Campus Center, with an added effort to help those in need as the holidays approach.

On Friday, Nov. 15, Oswego men’s hockey will face off against archival Plattsburgh at 7 p.m. Students may begin lining up along the Marano Campus Center spine at 3 p.m.

Global phenom known as Lemony Snicket to speak at SUNY Oswego

According to Lemony Snicket, the pseudonym for author Daniel Handler, who will appear on campus on Monday, Dec. 2: “Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them.”  Attendees to this talk, which will include a booksigning, might want to follow this advice and bring a book, organizers said.
