Music faculty member releases collection of electronic songs

SUNY Oswego professor and chair of music Paul Leary has released an extended play (EP) of original electronic music. Titled “Artificially Intelligent,” it focuses on the consequences of human actions that may be discovered long down the road.

ASAP to present session on work-life balance

Faculty Scholarly and Creative Activity Grant awards announced

The Spring 2024 round of the Faculty Scholarly and Creative Activities Grant application/review process resulted in five proposals selected for funding by members of the Scholarly and Creative Activity Committee and ultimately approved for funding by Provost Scott Furlong. The funded proposals added up to more than $12,091

Strategic Planning Town Hall to take place on April 10

SUNY Oswego’s second university-wide Strategic Planning Town Hall for 2023-2024 will take place from 3 to 4 pm on Wednesday, April 10, in 201 Marano Campus Center and via Zoom.

As announced previously by President Peter Nwosu, campus community involvement is a critical part of creating the university’s next strategic plan in support of Vision 4040: Expanding SUNY Oswego’s Promise.

Student satisfaction surveys appeared in inboxes this week

Starting on April 3, SUNY Oswego students should have begun receiving the triennial SUNY Satisfaction Survey (SSS), a key tool in evaluating various aspects of campus.

SUNY institutions survey undergraduate students every third year during the spring semesters, with the goal of determining how well campuses serve their undergraduate students and their level of satisfaction. This survey is a prime opportunity for students to use their voices by taking a few minutes to complete.
