Auxiliary Services is proud to announce a new series of initiatives designed to support students, improve dining experiences and promote sustainability across campus in the coming months.
For the upcoming academic year, meal plans will start earlier (Aug. 4) and include coverage during Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring breaks — at no additional cost. Auxiliary Services will also donate 2,000 meal swipes to SHOP (Students Helping Oz Peers), SUNY Oswego’s campus food pantry, and launch a $20,000 Course Material Scholarship to reduce academic expenses.
Students will see expanded health and beauty offerings in retail locations and a second wellness vending machine installed to promote well-being and inclusion.
Sustainability is front and center, with the introduction of on-site food dehydrators to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, new energy-efficient kitchen equipment and long-term facility upgrades, including plans for Cooper Dining and the on-campus bakeshop. A new paid internship opportunity through our vending partner will also provide hands-on experience for SUNY Oswego students.
These efforts are part of Auxiliary Services’ continued commitment to helping every Laker grow, connect, and thrive on campus and beyond.
