Running from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, "Magical Night – A Collaborative Screening and Conversation" will feature a screening of the feature film "The Princess and the Frog" followed by a discussion in 142 Marano Campus Center.
The event is free and open to all students, sponsored by Alpha Sigma Chi and the Association of Black Psychologists (AbPsi).
Organizers expect a magical evening of culture, conversation and connection. "Magical Night" is a collaborative event that brings together Alpha Sigma Chi and AbPsi to explore themes of resilience, identity and self-empowerment through the beloved film "The Princess and the Frog."
Following the screening, attendees can enjoy a guided discussion highlighting the movie’s powerful messages and their relevance to mental health and the Black experience.
Attendees are encouraged to come dressed comfortably, bring friends, and enjoy a night of magic and meaning.
