Final reminder: Panopto, Zoom retention policy running Sept. 19

As a final reminder, the retention policy for cloud storage with Panopto and Zoom will be completed Friday, Sept. 19. The policy is run annually on this day. The retention policy will do the following:

Stu Krieger, 'Land Before Time' screenwriter, to visit Oct. 6

Stu Krieger, who wrote the beloved animated classic "The Land Before Time," will appear on campus as part of the Living Writers Series at 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, in the Marano Campus Center auditorium (Room 132).

This year’s 39th annual ALANA (African, Latino, Asian and Native American) Conference will run from Sept. 20 to 28 offering a series of programs and workshops emphasizing cultural diversity, student leadership, and campus community.

Fire Safety Day, mock room burn slated Sept. 17

September 15, 2025

A Fire Safety Day event -- including a mock burn demonstration of a residence hall room -- will unfold from 12:30 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, in Parking Lot E-17 (north of the Poucher Wing of Marano Campus Center).

Attendees can see how quickly fire can spread and how smoke alarms and safe practices can make all the difference, organizers said. The first burn will take place at 12:30 p.m., the last burn at 4:30 p.m.
