Penfield librarians welcome regional librarians

The day was jointly planned by SUNY Oswego librarians and representatives from the Onondaga, Oswego, Cortland and Madison School Library System (O2CM).

Fall registration advisement help available next week for students

SUNY Oswego students are encouraged to lock in their fall schedules early and avoid missing out on the classes they need. Fall registration via MyOswego opens March 30.

To support students during the registration period, advisors and staff from Student Accounts and Financial Aid will be available Monday, March 30, through Thursday, April 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at several campus locations to answer questions and provide assistance.

Employee Assistance Program Committee supports faculty and staff

The Employee Assistance Program Committee is officially back up and running this semester.

The SUNY Oswego Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a worksite-based program designed to help employees deal with the everyday issues involved in balancing work and life, as well as more serious problems that may impact work performance. EAP services are confidential, voluntary and offered at no cost to employees and their families.

Graduating debt-free and building a future in tech

Samantha Brown graduated from SUNY Oswego magna cum laude with dual majors in computer science and interaction design — and did it completely debt-free. Through dual enrollment credits, scholarships, leadership roles and hands-on experiences, she built a strong foundation that led to a full-time software engineering career in New York City.

Lakers lead the way: Four from Oswego capture SUNYAC Elite 20 honors

At each SUNY Athletic Conference championship, the conference awards the student athlete at the finals site with the highest GPA. Four Lakers have won this award, known as the Elite 20 award, during the 2025-26 academic year.
