Triandiflou Institute to host Open House on Sept. 28

The James A. Triandiflou Institute for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Transformative Practice cordially invites the campus community to attend their fall open house from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, in 202-203 Penfield Library. SUNY Oswego President Peter O. Nwosu is expecte to attend and share some remarks.

Biochar topic of next RCA Reflections talk

Pat Jones from Clean Maine Carbon will discuss "Biochar: Putting carbon back where it belongs" in the next edition of Rice Creek Associates (RCA) Reflections at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at Rice Creek Field Station on the SUNY Oswego campus.

The talk at the field station is free and open to the public.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

This month-long celebration offers a unique opportunity to honor and explore the vibrant traditions, history and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx communities in the United States.

Network maintenance for Citrix virtual applications taking place Sept. 22

September 19, 2023

On Friday, Sept. 22, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., network maintenance will take place affecting access to the online Citrix virtual applications. During this time period, Citrix will be intermittently available when using it from a computer in a lab or classroom podium. Access to Citrix outside of these locations will be unaffected.

Deadline today for funded research assistant program applications

September 18, 2023

Today (Sept. 19) is the deadline for faculty to submit the Federal Work Study Research Assistantship (FWS-RA) application, which can provide up to $2,000 in funding for an undergraduate or graduate research assistant.

Administered via Student Office and Creative Activities, FWS-RA provides assistance to faculty actively engaged in scholarly and creative activities. Up to 12 assistantships will be funded.
