Mission statement

The mission of the Music Department is threefold. Our first mission is to provide learning activities appropriate to music majors and minors. Secondly, the department serves a critical role in offering courses to non-majors. Finally, the department provides a vital service to the campus community through its music-making at events ranging from receptions to Commencement, Torchlight and others too numerous to mention.
