AUDITIONS

Audition Materials for Applied Vocal Instruction. FALL 2020

Applied Voice Lessons are private - one-on-one lessons with a teacher. Lessons are a credit bearing academic class for one or two credits. (MUS 341 or MUS 441) Lessons are granted through an audition process as we have only so many openings each year. If you'd like more information please contact Dr. Graber (todd.graber@oswego.edu). Make sure to sign up for an audition time below and fill out form ahead of time. thanks!

AUDITION MATERIAL- We want to hear YOU at your best. First and foremost, choose a song that you feel extremely comfortable with. If you have sheet music- PLEASE BRING- that would be great. Your selection can be Musical Theater, classical (perhaps a previous NYSSMA solo?), or pop. If you have nothing prepared- still come and we will vocalize!

COVID CONCERNS - Teaching lessons this semester will take place in a large rehearsal room with at least 20' between teacher/student. If you are concerned about personal health risks, please indicate that you would rather have ZOOM lessons-rather than face-to-face. ALSO- in lieu of the "in person" audition, you may record yourself on video singing your song and share that video with us. Please share video with Dr. Graber - todd.graber@oswego.edu BEFORE 8PM on Thursday, Aug. 27th.

Click HERE to sign up for an audition time - Wed, Aug. 26th or Thur., Aug. 27th - Tyler Room 42.
