This Webinar will provide teaching and support faculty with some basic information about the online tutoring services available through the STAR-NY Consortium. We'll touch on the history and theoretical underpinnings of the program, and discuss elements such as training, quality control, student response, and benefits to participating campuses.

Low-stakes testing is a pedagogical technique that has been found in numerous studies to be effective in enhancing student learning. In this workshop, some of the evidence for this approach will be summarized.
