Cathy Santos to serve as Latino Student Union keynote speaker

Alumna and longtime SUNY Oswego leader Cathy Santos will serve as Latino Student Union keynote speaker, with a virtual talk at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16.

Earning her bachelor's and master's degrees (in 1987 and 1999, respectively) Santos is a retired Boruica higher education professional who currently directs library services as part of a committee for Oswego County.

Election Day paid time off to vote guidelines

With Election Day right around the corner, the Office of Human Resources wants to remind everyone of the legislation passed in April 2020 amending the Election Law. Employees may take up to two hours of paid leave to vote in any election in New York State, when the employee does not have sufficient time to vote before or after their work shift.
