$2M grant will support faculty member’s study of aging brains

SUNY Oswego psychology faculty member Sien Hu will study the impacts of aging and related impairments on the human brain, thanks to a five-year grant of more than $2 million total from the National Institutes of Health.

Native American studies and Triandiflou Institute recognize Orange Shirt Day

Native American studies students and Triandiflou Institute interns and staff will table in Marano Campus Center from noon to 3 p.m. on Sept. 28, 29 and 30 to recognize Orange Shirt Day.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, known as Orange Shirt Day, is a Canadian public holiday established to recognize the legacy of the Canadian Indian residential school system.

Health Services to hold student flu vaccination clinic on Monday

SUNY Oswego Health Services will host a flu vaccination clinic at the Mary Walker Health Center from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday Oct. 3, for students only. This will be a walk-in clinic.

Steinkraus Lecture to feature Slate philosophy podcaster discussing 'Discretion'
