Nicholas Radford (he/him) is a composer, vocalist, and audio engineer from the great city of Oswego. A native of Central New York, Nicky graduated from SUNY Oswego with a B.A. in Music and Audio Design. Currently, he teaches an introductory music technology course at his alma mater.

A performer and entertainer at his core, Nicky has been part of several performances with the Oswego Opera Company, including Dido and Aeneas, Die Fledermaus, and Noye's Fludde. Nicky also has experience in choral conducting, having instructed the Oswego State Singers, Oswego Men’s Chorus, and multiple chamber choirs for various recording projects. He remains active in the local music community as a member of the Oswego Festival Chorus, of which he has been a bass/baritone soloist for many years, having performed Mozart’s Requiem in D minor, Faure’s Requiem in D minor, and Mozart’s Missa Brevis in D minor.

Outside of teaching, Nicky works for Symphoria, the Orchestra of Central New York, as their Stage/Youth Orchestra Manager. Through this dual role, he has worked closely with many neighboring organizations, including National Audio, CirqOvation, CNY Arts, the Syracuse Sounds of Music Association, and the OnCenter. The students he has worked with have gone on to be featured in the New York Times, the Daily Sentinel, and WSYR-TV (NewsChannel 9).

Much of Nicky’s compositional work can be heard on all music streaming platforms under his artist name, Nicky Kulay. He works in several musical genres, including pop/electronic, hip-hop/R&B, rock, jazz, and classical. His third self-produced album, HYPERTHESIS, was released in July 2022. Nicky's home recording studio, Rad Sally Records, is near downtown Oswego and is always accepting new clients.
