This Webinar will provide teaching and support faculty with some basic information about the online tutoring services available through the STAR-NY Consortium. We'll touch on the history and theoretical underpinnings of the program, and discuss elements such as training, quality control, student response, and benefits to participating campuses.
Presenters:
Teri A. Vigars and Jen Drake, founding members of the STAR-NY Consortium. Teri is the Administrator of the Consortium, and Assistant Director of the Academic Support and Achievement Program (ASAP) at SUNY Cortland. Jen is the Consortium's Lead Trainer and Quality Control Team Leader, and an Academic Tutor in ASAP.
