The Timeline website offers well-researched, accessibly written entries on specific artworks, garments and films for those interested in fashion and dress history. Started as a pilot project by FIT art history faculty and students in the Fall of 2015, the Timeline aims to be an important contribution to public knowledge of the history of fashion and to serve as a constantly growing and evolving resource not only for students and faculty, but also for the wider world of those interested in fashion and dress history.

The Fashion History Timeline has over 600 entries written by 368 authors representing 41 different majors at FIT. Students from 19 classes have contributed to the timeline since its inception. Justine De Young, Assistant Professor in FIT’s History of Art department, is the project director, and will discuss the evolution of the Timeline, integration of the project into courses at FIT, and the Timeline’s importance to the study of the history of fashion.

How Podcasting Implementation Can Aid Professors Within Classroom Settings
Wednesday, 5/15, 12:45 -  1:45pm, 123 Penfield
Presenter: Chantel Richardson
Remote access: https://zoom.us/j/7322667156
This research was done to observe the countless ways podcast implementation aided classroom settings both internationally, domestically and how it could be implemented within transformative work through minors. Within this research, researchers want to observe if this same implementation could aid SUNY Oswego students, SUNY Oswego faculty and also the SUNY Oswego community. Besides studying participants through a pre-test/posttest measure, researchers also plan to hold a workshop/seminar engaging students and faculty alike in content creation for one's own generation of a podcast.
