2022 Campaign

We are so proud to say that, with the help of everyone at SUNY Oswego, we were able to contribute $59,583 in donation, goods, and services to benefit Oswego County and surrounding communities. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for showing how much SUNY Oswego cares. Whatever the circumstances, it's amazing to see our employees continuing to give and share with others.

Fundraiser Success

  • Warm Winter Clothing Drive: collected 322 items valued at $3,280 to support SHOP!
  • Valentine's Day Candy Sale: raised $144 to support Dreams from the Heart!
  • Explore Oswego! Raffle: raised $3,030 to support United Way of Greater Oswego County!
  • Spring Flowering Bulb Sale: raised $463 for the United Way of Greater Oswego County!
  • Yards for Yeardley Toiletry Drive: collected 356 personal care items valued at $935 to support SUNY Oswego Its On Oz and OCO's SAF Program!
  • Mother’s Day Hanging Basket Sale: raised $394 for Paws Across Oswego County and the Oswego Children’s Center!
  • Spring Book Drive: collected 15 boxes and 2 bags of hard and softcover books valued at $2,673 for the Oswego Bookmobile!
  • Father's Day Raffle: raised $1,790 to support the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee, Inc.!
  • Stuff-a-Bus: collected 718 school supplies valued at $752 to support local school children!
  • Food Vendor Nights: raised $271 from our Fajita Grill and Tully's nights!
  • Fall Mum Sale: raised $779 for United Way of Greater Oswego County!
  • SHOP Campus Food Pantry Drive: 534 items valued at $1,805, plus a $500 donation from the Oswego Elks!
  • Pink Day activities: raised $931 for Oswego County Opportunities Cancer Services!
  • Bake-Off: raised $541 for United Way of Greater Oswego County!
  • Talent Showcase: raised $401 for Peaceful Remedies!
  • Baskets of Caring: raised $3,488 for United Way of Greater Oswego County!
  • No-Shave November: raised $721 for Liberty Resources!
  • Food and Pet Drive: collected $1,090 worth of donations for Human Concerns Food Pantry!
  • Teddy Bear Toss: collected 741 bears and cash donations, together totaling $11,749 for Toys for Tots!
  • Holiday Skate: raised $610 for United Way of Greater Oswego County!
  • Toy Drive: collected 1,118 toys valued at $12,908 for the Oswego County Children’s Fund, which distributed them to over 700 families in Oswego County!

Thanks to your help, SUNY Oswego SEFA far surpassed our 2021 campaign goal of $35,000: we raised $48,296 in donations and goods to benefit Oswego County and beyond!

In addition to pledges and donations, our many fundraisers were highly successful at raising funds and goods:

Fundraiser Success

  • Spring Flowering Bulb Sale: raised $510 for the United Way of Greater Oswego County!
  • “Spring Forward” Pop Up Basket of Caring: raised $936 for Hospice of Oswego County!
  • Yards for Yeardley: raised $316 from our t-shirt sale for the SUNY Oswego Its On Oz account and collected 805 personal care items for the OCO SAF Program!
  • Mother’s Day Hanging Basket Sale: raised $407 for Paws Across Oswego County and the Oswego Children’s Center!
  • Spring Book Drive: collected 717 hard and softcover books valued at $4,029 for the Oswego Bookmobile!
  • Stuff-A-Bus: collected 754 school supplies valued at $828, supporting 1,313 children in Oswego County!
  • Fall Mum Sale: 396 plants were purchased raising $983 towards the campaign!
  • Totally Teal Tuesday: apparel sale, $5 Friday, 50/50 raffle, and jewelry sale raised $1,230 for Peaceful Remedies in honor of founder and former SUNY Oswego employee Mary Gosek!
  • Pink Day: the Pink Laker hockey jersey raffle, pink mask sale, and $5 Friday raised $656 to support OCO Cancer Services!
  • Bake-off: the four bake-offs generated $642 to support United Way of Greater Oswego County!
  • Thanksgiving Pie Sale: raised $138 to support United Way of Greater Oswego County plus 16 pies (worth $272) donated to Human Concerns Food Pantry!
  • Talent Showcase: raised $543 to support Peaceful Remedies!
  • Baskets of Caring: raised $4,151 to support United Way of Greater Oswego County!
  • No Shave November: raised $910 to support the national NSN organization's work with cancer prevention, research, and education!
  • The Holiday Food, Supply, & Toy Drive for People & Pets collected 675 items worth $1,684 to support United Way and local animal shelters!
  • The Teddy Bear Toss raised $7,891 worth of donations and teddy bears to support Toys for Tot
