How are Alexa, Siri and artificial intelligence (AI) impacting and intervening in dangerous situations in daily life? That’s an evolving issue that SUNY Oswego communication studies faculty member Jason Zenor continues to explore, including in an award-winning publication.

Students from all over New York will show off their skills in the upcoming SUNYWide Film Festival, hosted virtually by SUNY Oswego from April 7 to April 10.

Oswego Design Club is hosting its first spring exhibition through this week in Tyler Hall’s corner gallery –- the first of what they hope will be many opportunities for SUNY Oswego’s students to show off their artistic chops in a student-led show.

SUNY Oswego faculty members Sandy Bargainnier and Justin Mastrangelo recently earned recognition as SUNY Online Teaching Ambassadors for 2022, an award that acknowledges the hard work they invest into building fulfilling curriculums for online courses.

While the SUNY Oswego Blackfriars current student production is titled “A Play Where Nothing Happens,” that certainly is not true for the student cast and crew working diligently behind the scenes to put together a great show.

SUNY Oswego’s Blackfriars student production this semester will touch on topics familiar to much of its audience, as the intimate “A Play Where Nothing Happens” dives into the life of a recent high school graduate and her best friend struggling to enjoy their summer.

A talented crew of 11 SUNY Oswego theatre students shared in a total of six awards earlier this year in the annual Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region 2 Conference.

Senior graphic design major Alexis Cleveland earned first place in the student category after submitting a poster to the The National Organization for Women’s Foundation (NOW) annual contest for their "Love Your Body" campaign.
