With Move-in Day for new fall 2019 students coming up fast, we worked with Residence Life and Housing to get tips from 10 students to help as families prepare for this big milestone.

Oswego Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Jerri Howland recently announced the college appointment of Shaun N. Crisler as Oswego’s new assistant vice president for Residence Life and Housing, effective July 8, 2019.

Alexandra "Alex" Sorbello, artist designer with SUNY Oswego's Office of Residence Life and Housing, has earned the 2019 Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Classified Service, a State University of New York honor that recognizes her for "superior performance and extraordinary achievement."

Fulbright Scholar and TED fellow Shalini Kantayya, a filmmaker and eco-activist who maintains that sustainable energy is not just right for the environment, but has benefits for the economy as well, will make a free public keynote presentation at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, in Sheldon Hall ballroom for the 11th annual Hart Hall Global Awareness Conference.

For 2016's Move-in Day, most incoming SUNY Oswego students moved on campus on Aug. 26, bringing excitement, hopes, dreams ... and lots of packed items.
