Two SUNY Oswego alumni are living proof that love -- of each other and of teaching -- can span distance and time apart.

Teaching ability, helpful mentorship and service to the field of communication have earned Kristen Eichhorn, SUNY Oswego’s dean of graduate studies, the Eastern Communication Association (ECA) Distinguished Teaching Fellows award.

Melissa Arduini, administrative aide for MBA programs in the School of Business, has earned the 2018 Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Classified Service from the State University system, an honor emblematic of "superior performance and extraordinary achievement" in a state Civil Service position.
