Fulbright awarded to art professor 'pushing boundaries' in contemporary drawing

SUNY Oswego art professor Juan Perdiguero will spend four months in Chile next spring as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar, teaching and doing research on techniques and processes in drawing that cut across traditional, single-discipline boundaries.

7 Oswego students to compete at internship showcase

Seven students will represent SUNY Oswego at the upcoming Central New York Career Development Association "CNY Internship Showcase" at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at SUNY Oswego's Syracuse campus.

In all, 20 students were competitively selected to present about their internship experiences and will represent six institutions, vying for the opportunity to win a $500 judge-based prize and a $200 Audience Choice Award.

Blackboard planned maintenance happening this weekend

A planned maintenance of Blackboard is scheduled from 10:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, through 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4. During this time, Blackboard functionality will be intermittent as our hosting provider’s Internet connection undergoes network maintenance. Accessing Blackboard and performing work in courses could be unreliable during this period. Please plan ahead.
