SUNY Oswego invites graduates and guests to 2020 virtual Commencement on Dec. 12

Commencement 2020 takes place on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020. Five separate virtual ceremonies will begin concurrently at 10 a.m. to honor undergraduates who will earn their baccalaureate degrees from the School of Business; School of Communication, Media and the Arts; School of Education; or the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; as well as a separate ceremony for students earning their graduate certificates, master’s degrees and certificates of advanced study.

SUNY Chancellor and UUP president announce agreement to extend free, mandatory COVID-19 testing

State University of New York Chancellor Jim Malatras and United University Professions (UUP) President Frederick E. Kowal announced on Friday (Nov. 20) an agreement to extend mandatory, free COVID-19 testing for all UUP-represented employees through the end of the spring semester. In September, SUNY reached agreements with UUP, The Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA), the New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF), and the Police Benevolent Association of New York State (PBANYS) to conduct routine testing of all union-represented employees.
