Discover Wellness to offer in-person program for employees

February 18, 2025

Discover Wellness will offer a five-week in-person wellness journey for employees starting on March 24.

Sessions will be led by Wellness Fellows, trained in positive psychology, with in-person coaching sessions with featuring Amy Bidwell of the Health Promotion and Wellness Department.

Reduced operations expected on campus today

February 17, 2025

Due to the continued severe weather, operations on campus will be lighter due to minimal staffing on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Dining halls will be open, but all other Auxiliary Services options across campus will not.

Penfield Library will be closed.

Marano Campus Center activities will be essential operations only.

Health Services will work remotely due to the weather conditions. Call Health Services at 315-312-4100 with any questions.

SUNY Oswego classes will be remote on Tuesday, Feb. 18

Due to adverse weather conditions, SUNY Oswego has announced that all classes at both the Oswego and Syracuse campuses will be taught remotely on Tuesday, Feb. 18. This includes day and evening classes.

All face-to-face and hybrid classes will shift to remote instruction as directed by your faculty member. Online courses will proceed as scheduled.  

ASAP series to discuss becoming career-ready

​Nominate a 2025 senior for award recognition

The Oswego Alumni Association is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Outstanding Senior Award.

This honor recognizes a senior student for their exceptional involvement on campus and academic excellence during their time at SUNY Oswego. All students graduating in May, August or December of 2025 are eligible to apply.

Deadline to nominate is Monday, March 10. To submit a nomination, please visit alumni.oswego.edu/osa25.

SUNY Oswego students gain global perspective on wellness in Australia

For the third consecutive year, students from SUNY Oswego's Department of Health Promotion and Wellness had the unique opportunity to engage in a discussion on mental fitness and well-being with New South Wales Rugby League  Community and Welfare Officer Paul Langmack at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence in Sydney, Australia.

Auxiliary Services welcomes 2025-2026 Program Fund requests

To support SUNY Oswego’s strategic plan and initiatives, the Auxiliary Services Board of Directors invites applications for grant funding to aid programs that help create a vibrant campus community.

These funds are for the 2025-2026 academic year and must be used by May 2026 Commencement. Applications are available on the Scholarships and Funding webpage and are due by April 4, 2025.
