The next installment of Rice Creek Associates (RCA) Reflections will feature Mike Holy discussing "A Life with Butterflies" at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at Rice Creek Field Station.

For the fourth year in a row, members of the campus community and general public are invited to celebrate National Arbor Day with the Canal Forest Restoration Project (CFRP) team at SUNY Oswego’s Rice Creek Field Station. This year’s celebration on Friday, April 28 includes invited talks from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and a free tree giveaway from 2:45 until 5 p.m.

The SUNY Oswego herbarium will preserve and provide access to natural history while giving 20 students paid research experience, thanks to a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF).

SUNY Oswego's Rice Creek Field Station invites the public and members of the campus community to its free "Celebrate Snow" winter festival on Saturday, Feb. 18, from noon to 3 p.m. (with a severe weather date of Feb. 19).

The next installment of Rice Creek Associates (RCA) Reflections will feature Michael Huynh, a licensed fishing and camping guide and director of campus ministry for the Hall Newman Center at SUNY Oswego, presenting “You Never Fish the Same Water Twice” at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, at Rice Creek Field Station.

SUNY Oswego again opens its doors and opportunities to the community during Cruisin’ the Campus from Dec. 26 through Jan. 19.

Jean Soprano, a wildlife rehabilitator for Kindred Kingdoms Wildlife Center and a SUNY Oswego alumna, will present “The Mysteries of Migration” at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Rice Creek Field Station as part of the Rice Creek Associates (RCA) Reflections series.

The community is invited to SUNY Oswego's Rice Creek Field Station for a fall bare-root tree seedling giveaway from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct 28, and noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct 29.

SUNY Oswego's Rice Creek Field Station will provide a new fun Halloween event for students, faculty, staff and the greater Oswego community with a free “Trick or Trail” Halloween event from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28.

SUNY Oswego’s Family and Friends Weekend will feature an "Inspired by Nature" silent art auction, featuring live music, refreshments, children's art activities and tours of Rice Creek Field Station.
