For the fourth year in a row, members of the campus community and general public are invited to celebrate National Arbor Day with the Canal Forest Restoration Project (CFRP) team at SUNY Oswego’s Rice Creek Field Station. This year’s celebration on Friday, April 28 includes invited talks from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and a free tree giveaway from 2:45 until 5 p.m.

Senior zoology student Brooke Goodman is working toward saving the lives of birds on the SUNY Oswego campus by adding window stickers to buildings around campus to divert feathered friends from them.

Physics professor Carolina Ilie continued a winning collaboration in working with former students to publish “Classical Mechanics: Problems and Solutions” – a textbook to help faculty members and students studying this field of physics.

Two students and a staff member were recognized recently by their induction into the SUNY Oswego chapter of Delta Phi Alpha, the National German Honor Society.

The SUNY Oswego herbarium will preserve and provide access to natural history while giving 20 students paid research experience, thanks to a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Mamta Saxena of SUNY Oswego’s human development faculty has earned an award from National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) for an outstanding combination of teaching, advising and scholarship.
