Dedication to celebrating Black history and culture and ongoing commitment to improving the lives of others have earned SUNY Oswego junior accounting major Samisha Elysee the Newman Civic Fellowship, a national honor.

SUNY Oswego’s new bachelor of fine arts in interaction design brings together art, technology, design and communication to provide a distinctive major that prepares graduates to excel in a world of intersecting media.

SUNY Oswego wellness management major Fadi Gaye was recently one of 45 students in SUNY’s Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) to receive the statewide Norman R. McConney Jr. Award for Student Excellence, recognizing ability to overcome obstacles to achieve success.

SUNY Oswego earned a national ranking among best colleges in their class in Washington Monthly’s annual college guide that measures how institutions benefit the public good through student upward mobility, research and civic engagement.

SUNY Oswego recently secured a five-year grant from the New York State Department of Education to support the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP), which offers a range of strong support for underrepresented and/or economically disadvantaged students entering STEM or professional licensure fields.
