Tea for Teaching podcast hits milestone

The Tea for Teaching podcast, created and co-hosted by John Kane and Rebecca Mushtare from the college’s Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, released the 100th podcast in its weekly series this week with a retrospective and lessons learned. It’s the latest chapter in a successful project that has continued to grow an audience in Oswego and even around the world.

'Writing Scholarship Essays' explored Friday

The next installment in the Write Ways Series, "Writing Scholarship Essays" will explore this topic from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, in Classroom 215 of Penfield Library.

Dr. Lyn Blanchfield will present this free session, which is open to all students, staff and faculty.

Exhibition envisions pop art pioneer Roy Lichtenstein's time in Oswego

A groundbreaking pop art pioneer's days as an Oswego faculty member get an imaginative treatment in "Roy Lichtenstein in Oswego 1957-1960," an exhibition by local painter and writer Ron Throop running Oct. 12 to Nov. 17 in the Wilber and Park hall connector.

Retirement gathering Wednesday for Steve Salisbury

Wear green and gold, and show your Laker pride on Friday

The Oswego family is invited to show school spirit for Green and Gold Day on Friday.

Participants can wear their favorite Laker gear and show up for the annual Oswego family portrait at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, on the South Lawn of the Marano Campus Center, near the food and activity court. (Rain location will be inside the Marano Campus Center arena.) Those attending the photo in their green and gold will be entered into a drawing for two $25 Amazon gift cards, with winners will be announced at the photo.
