Artist in Residence for spring semester invites students to speak their stories

Cris Eli Blak — recently announced as SUNY Oswego’s spring 2023 Artist in Residence to teach in the Theatre Department as well as the English and Creative Writing Department — will bring students’ voices to the stage with a contemporary, collaborative production that he calls “half straight-play and half docu-drama.”

National Cyber Security Awareness Month topic: Mobile computing

In part three of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Campus Technology Services (CTS) will cover mobile computing, how to best protect your mobile devices and how to stay safe while using them.

Mobile computing is a term used to describe the act of using a mobile device. In this case a mobile device can be a cellphone, tablet laptop, or any computer with mobility in mind. Any mobile computing device should be treated like a traditional computer whenever possible to prevent virus infection or stolen data. 

Alternative spring break registration open with November deadline

Signups are available for three Alternative Spring Break 2023 service options open to SUNY Oswego students, with a Nov. 11 registration deadline for consideration.

Since 2001, SUNY Oswego students have dedicated academic breaks to engaging in strong direct service to local, domestic and international communities.
